MADE IN DENMARK – SINCE 1937
Magnus Olesen has manufactured functional, durable yet aesthetic design since 1937. We are proud to be able to maintain our Danish factory and maintain a workplace locally in Denmark, where wood, other raw materials and semi-finished products are transformed into chairs and tables. We are today a well-reputed furniture company, developing and manufacturing design furniture of high quality and durability.
Over the course of time we has worked with well-respected designers such as Danish Modern designer Ib Kofod-Larsen in the 1950s, Rud Thygesen & JohnnySørensen in the 1970s & 1980s, Says Who and Øivind Slaatto today – always remaining true to our design roots but still keeping up with the developments of time. Due to our design history, Magnus Olesen A/S has built an extensive portfolio of both Danish classics as well as contemporary designs. Today, the designs can be seen in a multitude of architectural projects as well as in private homes.
Magnus Olesen has always been focused on longevity and sustainability – good design, that lasts. New products must be developed under the aspect ‘Design for Disassembly’. Today, most of Magnus Olesen’s products can be taken apart and components can be replaced, reused and upgraded to extend the lifecycle of a product.
